Another month has gone by, and Clara is four months old! She has change so much. One morning she woke up and she seemed to have grown up. She is laughing, and talking. She is using her hand very well, and can take her pacifire out and then put it back in. She can pick toys up by herself, and switchs them from side to side. I am pretty sure she is teething, and she has started to roll over! Pretty much ever time she is put down on her back she rolls over to her tummy, but then she she gets stuck! I remember it only took Riley about a week to figure out how to go the other way, so hopefully she will learn fast. Clara has also started eating rice cereal and she loves it! Riley love to "help" me feed her the cereal. It is fun to see Riley play with Clara, especially now that she is smiling and laughing at the things Riley does. He also get excited when she rolls over. He is a good older brother.

This is the gold fish (fishy Pete) we got for Riley when he was potty training. The fish has probably trippled in size. We are really surprised the fish is still alive, and you can't see it but we have an alege eater too (his name is Al).

Nicolas and I have been merried for 4Years!!!! It is crazy how the time has gone so fast, it really does not seem like that long. I love you Nicolas and thank you for all you do.

She loves her big brother so much, and he is such a good big brother.


Riley has been really bad about naps lately, infact most days he never even takes one. But when he does he will be really quite for awhile and when I go look for him I will find him zonked out in some crazy posiotion. This picture is not to crazy, but I thought it was cute.

Clara is already 3 months old! The time goes so fast! She is growing and healthy. She is sleeping longer at night, sometimes up to 9 hours. She is a good baby, and we love her so much!!

I can't believe another month has gone by!! My baby is 2 months old! She is a pretty good baby. Most nights I only have to get up with her once. At bed time all we have to do is wrap her up in a blanket and in 5 minutes or so she has put herself to sleep. (Much better then the hour it took/takes to get Riley to bed.) She hates to be left alone and that is really the only time she will cry, (unless she is hungry, or Nicolas is watching the kids.) I have scouts on Tuesday night and as soon as I wald out the door she starts to scream. She loves her daddy, but only if mommy is around.

Clara's favorite thing to do is stand! And she is pretty good at it.

Last weekend we went to the Hogle Zoo. The weather was so nice, we had to go enjoy it.

The time has gone by so fast! My baby is 6 weeks old! It is amazing how much she has changed in just a month and a half. It seems like she has doubled in size, she is smiling, talking, and bats at her toys. Her little personality is really starting to show.

We went camping over labor day weekend. We bought a pop up camp trailer, and we had to use it once before winter came. Clara loved to watch the camp fire, and ofcourse Riley loves to put sticks into the campfire.

Riley loves his new little sister. While she is in her swing or bouncer he will go give her kisses and hold her hand. When she cries he will go get her pacifire and try to put it in her mouth. And he is always asking to hold the baby. Both mornings since we came home when he has gotten up Clara is already awake. When he hears her or sees her he gets very excited that the baby is still hear.

Born about 2:30 monday Aug 16th, 9lbs 7oz! Beautiful baby girl, I think we will name her Clara. Tiffany is doing well. Here are some pics!

I am now three days passed my due date! We are doing well, but I am very ready to not be pregnant anymore! If she has not come by Monday I will be induced. I really don't want to be induced, but I need this baby to come! It is really getting old planning life one day at a time. I don't want to sound like I am complaining becase I have been so blessed though out the whole pregnancy. I have hardly been sick, I have gainned less weight this go around, and both baby and I are healthy. I know that once she comes I will forget how frustrated I am and it wont even matter.

This summer is going by way to fast! It is already August, and I am 39 weeks pregnant.
Last weekend we had a family reunion in Island Park. It was fun, even if I was limited in the activities I could do.

Riley has been very creative lately and will make up his own games. This game was called wakeboarding. I would pretend to be the boat and I would pull Riley behind me. He would jump and do tricks, and wipe out.

Riley went kyaking with dad. He had tons of fun.

Cutest Story Ever!

We’ve been trying to extra hard these last few months to get Riley ready for his baby sister. We are always pointing babies out to him and having him pretend that his stuffed animals are “babies” so that he can practice being “careful” and “nice”. We have also been emphatic that diapers are “for babies” in an attempt to stop the almost certain potty training regression that will occur upon the baby’s arrival. Needless to say, 9 months is a long time for a 2-year-old (nearly half of his life so far!) and we suspect that he is getting quite anxious for the baby to arrive…

Last week Tiffany and Riley went to Sam’s club and bought a bulk-size box of newborn diapers. The entire ride home Riley pointed at the picture of the baby on the diaper box and said “For baby, for baby!” to which Tiffany replied “That’s right, diapers are for babies.” Upon arriving at home Tiffany pulled Riley from his car seat and took him inside; leaving the diaper box in the truck. Riley began chanting worriedly “diapers, for baby, diapers, get box, for baby!” Being a bit perplexed, Tiffany retrieved the box and brought it inside to the concerned toddler. Riley again pointed to the large picture of an infant on the box and exclaimed “diapers, for baby, open it, open it!” Tiffany obliged the big-brother-to-be and promptly opened the box. Riley tore through the box, carelessly throwing the diapers out until he reached the bottom. He then stood up and, with a look of utter confusion and disappointment, starred at the empty diaper box and asked “Where’s Baby?”

Wow what a week!

Last week was so crazy! We had swimming lessons, Dr. visits, an apartment that needed to be cleaned and fixed so the new tenents could move in, and inbetween all that we found some time to play.

On Sauterday we went boating. The wind was blowing a little but we still had fun. Riley went for his first tube ride and loved it. He tells everyone he went wakeboarding though because that is what daddy did and he tries so hard to be like his dad.

We had a ton of work to do at the apartments. One of the walls in the family room was an old ugly wood wall. We mud and painted so it would look like a normal sheetrock wall, and it had been probably 10 years since the place had been painted. So we re-painted the whole place. It took us all day Firday to paint, even with my father-in-law, and brother-in-law helping. We also had old tile window ledges that were falling apart, so Nicolas spent two days triming the windows. Thankfully the apartment was left pretty clean, so we only had to spent a few hours cleaning. Then today we finished up with new carpet in the front room. It was alot of work but it looks great, almost like a new place.

Riley came with me a couple of hours, but for the most part my mom or mother-in-law watched him. But he thought it was fun to come and "help". We gave him a dry paint brush and he walked around for a while and "painted" the walls. He would also grab the mop and mop the floor. If only I thought it was as fun as he did.

With the extra pieces of blinds Riley and Grandma had fun writing words.

Lets just say after painting all day you start to get board.

My sister-in-law, my cousin-in-law, and I all took a parent toddler swimming class together. The boys all seemed to enjoy playing in the pool. Riley's favorite part was when we got to work with the life jackets. He loved to just float on his back and relax.

It took me afew weeks but I finally got around to getting two year old pictures of Riley. I wanted to take them myself, and out side, but between the slow starting summer and my laziness I put it off for about a month. I was thinking about taking a few family shots seeing as Riley has changed so much in the last year, but I decided I would just be unhappy with the way I looked. Plus I will want a new family photo after the baby comes anyway. So here are some of the better pictures that I edited.

Lots of Fun!

This past week was fun and busy! My mother-in-law was baby sitting my nephew for the week, and Riley and I got to join them in all the fun activities they did. We went swimming at the aquadic center, to the zoo, and the fun park, and we also went movie theater. I was so tiered from it all! (I don't remember being this tired last time I was pregnant.) On Monday night we had a birthday party for Riley (although his birthday was not till Friday). He is now two years old!! I can't believe my baby is two years old. The time has gone by so fast, and I look at him and realize he is not a baby any more he is a little boy. Potty training is going well, and most days I feel comfortable saying he is potty trained. He has also been sleeping at night in undies for almost two months now and has only had one accident! Hopefully he will be potty trained well enough before the baby comes, and won't regress to much. We also went camping this weekend. Friday was perfect weather. We roasted hotdogs and enjoyed the dry weather. At about one in the morning it started to rain and it rainned till seven. Our tent started to leak and Riley and I had wet sleeping bags. It was a great trip till then.
