Just to cute!

Riley is growing up way to fast, he will be two in a few weeks! Where did the time go? He talks all the time, and is getting pretty good with sentances. And as you can see in the pictures he is pretty good about feeding himself too. He runs everywhere, and loves any kind of sport. He is a handfull at times but I love him just the way he is !!

Chicago Trip

I went to Chicago on business trip, not a lot of fun, but life is boring lately and we hadn't posted anything on our blog for a while, so here is a picture. Tiffany has been slacking on the blogging lately so I've had to fill-in, but all I can come up with is boring stuff like business trips and truck bed liners.

Messy project, nice results

So our truck had scratches all over the bed when we bought it, and I wanted to get a spray in bed liner, but the cheapest spray-ins were $400! So I bought a do-it-yourself bedliner kit for $75 and went to work. There are some before and after photos, it really turned out nice, but it took me 6 hours to sand the bed and all day on friday to mask and paint. Plus it made a huge mess and now I have black stains on my arms, legs, and garage floor that will not wash off. Maybe next time I will just pay the $400!

Fishy Pete

I am really excited about this!! We have been doing the potty training thing lately, and we made a deal with Riley that if he could go poop on the potty we would get a little gold fish. Well tonight was the big night! He was so excited when he finally realized we were really going to get him a fish. We asked him what he wanted to name him and he said fishy Pete. (Some times when he says pee pee it comes out sounding more like pete pete, so I think he was really just telling us why he got the fish. It worked for a name though so I think it will stick.) Anyway the whole potty training thing is stressful, but I really feel like we are making progress. He goes to the potty most mornings, and a few other random times during the day. He tells me most the time before he goes, the only problem is he has not quite figured out he has to tell me and then wait till he get to the potty before he can start to go. We are doing really well considering he is not even two yet.

Last week we got to go to Disney Land with the Woolstenhulme side of the family, Nicolas' grandparants, his parents and all his sisters and brother, one of his aunts family's, and one of his uncles family's. In all I think it was 23 people. We had a lot of fun.

On Friday we all went to the beach. We road on a ferry which is somthing I have never done before, and I do not know if I want to again. It was weird being in your car while on a boat!
At the park they had a little petting zoo with goats, a cow, and a sheep. Riley was facinated by this goat for some reason.

I had to take a belly shot while we were at Disney Land!! 23 weeks!

I really think Riley's favorite part of our vacation was the swimming pool, and hot tub! He would beg to go swimming, (we would have gone swimming more if the weather would have been warmer.) Then when we got to the pool all he wanted to do was get in the hot tub.
When we went to Disney World last year Riley and I got really sick, and missed almost half the vacation throwing up in the hotal room, so it was nice to get to go back to Disney Land so soon. We are glad we got to spend the week with our family having fun and making memories!

Boy? or Girl?

For those of you who guessed Girl.... you are right!! We got to see our little baby today, and everything is looking great. She is growing and developing just the way she is suppost to be. She has five cute little fingers on each hand, she would not really let us count hew toes, plus the bones are so little it would be hard to tell anyway. She was not quite as active as Riley was. He was all over the place and just in the 20 minutes or so that we got to see him in the ultra sound he flipped four or five times. She was also not as cooperative as Riley. Within the first few seconds of Riley's ultra sound we knew he was a boy. We were not really sure with our little girl till the end of the ultra sound. We got an OK picture of her face, and a cute picture of her feet. I will post those later. We are happy that everything looked good, and are looking forward to meeting our little girl in about 5 months.

This kid can make anything look comfortable

This is what daylight savings does to a toddler.
