Another month has gone by way to fast!! Clara is 7 months old! She is a happy baby most of the time. She sleeps well at night, but naps are another story. The longest nap she will take is 45 minutes. I can't get anything done in that amount of time. She still has no teeth, which surprises me. Riley got his teeth at 4 month, and she really acts like she has been teething for 4 months now. I guess they will come when they come. Clara is a pro at crawling and stands up to anything that holds still long enough for her to get up. This past week she has become even more brave and will let go of whatever she is standing next to. She usually falls right away, but she is getting better at it every day.

I also can't beleive how much Riley has changed lately!! He is so smart. He knows the standard shapes, and colors, he is learning to count, and he reconizes and can name most of the alphabet. He can dress and undress himself, he can go to the potty all by himself (he has been potty trained now for 6 months, but it is only in the last month or two that he has been able to go all by himself.) He loves to color, read books, and watch Blues Clues. We have also been doing a chore chart with Riley. For some motivation he got a bean bag chair when he filled up his chart with stickers. Riley also moved into a "big, big boy" bed, (more commonly known as a twin size bed.) He loves Mario so I made him a quilt.

The picture is kind of small but it is a rabbit with big ears, and a tail.

Tonight Nicolas made up a new game called diving board. Riley and Clara thought it was the best game ever. We piled almost every pillow and a few blankets into a pile and then jumped into them, cannon ball, back flop, belly flop you name it. It was fun!!

Six months old!!

On Wednwsday Clara will be six months old!! I was going to wait till then to take pictures, but she is pretty much crawling (CRAZY!!) and I knew I would need Nicolas' help.

We have cabin fever really bad at our house lately, so we went to Sportsmans and bought a raft for this summer, we had fun fishing in our front room. The raft was the only way we could get her to hold still for her six month pictures.

We also went swimming last weekend. It was Clara's first time swimming, and she loved it! Riley also has a new favorite game. Nicolas will sit on the couch and Riley will go stand in the middle of the room. Nicolas then throws the pillows at Riley. That is the game, and Riley could play for every if we would let him.

Another month has gone by. My little baby is growing up to fast. She grabs at everything she sees and if she gets ahold of it it goes strat for her mouth. She loves to be sitting up, and can hold herself very well. She loves to jump. We had to buy her a jumper because she was wearing us out. She is pretty happy, but I think she is teething so she is a little grumpier and not sleeping well. Riley is also doing well. He loves to make Clara laugh, and sometimes he is the only one that can make her laugh. He is full of energy and I love all the cute things he says. Life would be so dull with out my children. I love them!!

Another month has gone by, and Clara is four months old! She has change so much. One morning she woke up and she seemed to have grown up. She is laughing, and talking. She is using her hand very well, and can take her pacifire out and then put it back in. She can pick toys up by herself, and switchs them from side to side. I am pretty sure she is teething, and she has started to roll over! Pretty much ever time she is put down on her back she rolls over to her tummy, but then she she gets stuck! I remember it only took Riley about a week to figure out how to go the other way, so hopefully she will learn fast. Clara has also started eating rice cereal and she loves it! Riley love to "help" me feed her the cereal. It is fun to see Riley play with Clara, especially now that she is smiling and laughing at the things Riley does. He also get excited when she rolls over. He is a good older brother.

This is the gold fish (fishy Pete) we got for Riley when he was potty training. The fish has probably trippled in size. We are really surprised the fish is still alive, and you can't see it but we have an alege eater too (his name is Al).

Nicolas and I have been merried for 4Years!!!! It is crazy how the time has gone so fast, it really does not seem like that long. I love you Nicolas and thank you for all you do.

I am a little slow on the Halloween picture.

I have been experimentimg with my photoshop , and I just really like the way this one turned out.

She loves her big brother so much, and he is such a good big brother.


Riley has been really bad about naps lately, infact most days he never even takes one. But when he does he will be really quite for awhile and when I go look for him I will find him zonked out in some crazy posiotion. This picture is not to crazy, but I thought it was cute.

Clara is already 3 months old! The time goes so fast! She is growing and healthy. She is sleeping longer at night, sometimes up to 9 hours. She is a good baby, and we love her so much!!

I can't believe another month has gone by!! My baby is 2 months old! She is a pretty good baby. Most nights I only have to get up with her once. At bed time all we have to do is wrap her up in a blanket and in 5 minutes or so she has put herself to sleep. (Much better then the hour it took/takes to get Riley to bed.) She hates to be left alone and that is really the only time she will cry, (unless she is hungry, or Nicolas is watching the kids.) I have scouts on Tuesday night and as soon as I wald out the door she starts to scream. She loves her daddy, but only if mommy is around.

Clara's favorite thing to do is stand! And she is pretty good at it.

Last weekend we went to the Hogle Zoo. The weather was so nice, we had to go enjoy it.
