I don't know what I am doing wrong, but I can't get the captions to line up with my pictures!! How frustrating!

We have been super busy the last few weeks! We have been gone doing family stuff, fixing more sprinklers, taking swimming lessons, and cleaning the apartments. About three weeks ago we went to Raging Waters in Utah for a family reunion, two weekends ago we went hiking with my dad, and brother. Sadly no one made it to the top of the mountain we had planned to sumit. Then last weekend we went to the cabin again. Last week we had a tenant move out, and so far I have spent 15 hours cleaning! Which in my book is way too much. And for the past four weeks I took swimming lessons. I never really learned as a kid and I figured it is never too late to learn. I really enjoyed the classes, and can now attempt at least three different strokes.

While we were at the family reunion we went to the Hogle zoo!

While at Raging waters we put Riley in the middle of all the clear tubes. He thought it was pretty fun.

Riley loved the water! He loves "swimming". The little float toy alowed him to be on his tummy, and he would flip his little legs like he was trying to swim. It was cute, and we all had a lot of fun.

This is a picture of all the kids that went to the zoo.

Riley was "helping" fix the sprinklers again.

Riley's first ride on a four wheeler. He loved it.

We went down to the river and threw rocks into the water.
When we went camping with my dad and brother, this was the mountain we failed to make it to.
The trail on the way back down.

We have had a fun summer. We have gone to the Zoo a few time now and Riley loves the animals. We also went to my husbands grandparents cabin a few weeks ago.

While we were at the zoo with Grandma Adrienne, Pauline, and Trenton we got to see the tigers play fight. They were growling and batting at each other it was pretty cool to watch.

Riley liked the Zebra.

This little Flamingo chick was only two days old. Pretty cute!!

Family photo on the chicken.

I really think Riley's favorite animal at the zoo was this rooster. He would walk back over to it when we would move on.

Riley was a little scared while feeding the goats. He still feed them but he was a little timid. I think it was because the goats had such bad breath!

Riley loves his fruits and vegies. He was facinated by the green top on the carrot. This was his firts experience with a home grown carrot.

At the cabin there is a pool table. Riley had a blast picking up the pool balls and puting it in the corner pocket.

Matching boys! Riley and Trenton are six months apart. They are pretty cute!

We rafted down the River while we were at the cabin. Riley and Trenton loved it at first but, got board towards the end and started to whine.

Riley insisted that he feed himself with the spoon. Even though he just had a bath I pretty much gave him another. (I am not really sure how he ended up with two spoons!)

Two weekends ago we went camping with my family and Nicolas' family. We went to Copper Basin, it is out passed Mackay. We had fun! The first night we were there we went to "The man hole", that is what Nicolas' family has always called it, it is a spot in the creek that is up to your chest and freezing cold. Nicolas, Savanna and Eric all got in, Crazy!! The next day my family took us out hiking. We saw a moose! It was really not that close to us but it was still a moose. After getting back from the hike we went on a killer motorcycle ride. It was one of the hardest things I have done. We road up switch backs and then we had to ride back down them! and I hate going down. That night we hung out and had marshmellows and other treats roasted over the fire. The next day we all went together to see Green lake. We took trucks and motercycles most of the way and then hiked the last 400 yards. It is such a pretty lake.

To get to Green Lake we had to go Four wheeling. The picture does not show how steep it was on the side of the mountain, but it was a little scary.

Riley loves the dirt!

When we got to Green Lake Savanna got in the Lake and Riley wanted to join her, so we let him put his feet in. It was freezing!

Hiking to Green Lake.

Riley hiking all by him self!

A Moose!!

At Big lake after our killer Motorcycle ride.

When we got to our camping spot we found out the campground was closed. We even checked on the internet to see if it was open, they must have forgot to post it or something. All was good, because there was another campground just down the road.

My dad took this picture after we left, but it was so pretty I wanted to post it.

This is "The man hole." It was so Cold!

This is a picture of all of us that went capming (minus me I was the one taking the picture).

It seems like all we have done this year is fix sprinklers! At the beging of the summer Nicolas did some work on our apartment sprinklers, because we had to put some sod in. As the summer has gone on the grass was slowly dieing and we were not sure why! So Nicolas spent the three days fixing them, and the sad part is they are still not working really well. It would take more money and time then we have right now. Then our grass at our house is dead in a few spots so we worked on the sprinklers at our house Tuesday night. Thankfully I got a few good pictures of Riley.

While Nicolas was outside deciding what we would need from Home Depot, Riley sat on the floor, ate an Otter pop, and watched him though our glass door. He wanted to go outside so bad and help, but seeing as how he was stung by a wasp about half an hour earlier I made him stay inside.

We had a long fun day on the 4th. We got up a 5:30 a.m. so I could run in the 4th anual Firecracker 5K fun run. I ran the 3.2 miles in 24 minutes and about 40 seconds. Which is the best time I have ran since I was in high school, and about a minute and a half faster then the last race I ran. I was pretty happy about that. We came home from the race and lounged around the house for a while, and then we set up our little kid pool our back. Riley loves the water! He cried when it was time to come in side. Then we loaded up our bike and road them to Nicolas' Grandparents house for a BBQ. We road our bikes over because we left from there house a road our bikes to the river to watch the fireworks. We have road our bikes the last three years because when it comes time to leave it is a whole lot faster then driving. Plus it is kind of fun. Riley loved the fireworks and he even fell asleep halfway though. We were glad that he did so well. We were not sure how he would react to the load noises. We got home around 11:15 and got everything put away and finaly got to sleep at 12:00! 18 hours after we got up that mourning!

Grandpa Eric got the cool glowing sword for Riley! He had a blast!

At the River we took a walk before the fireworks.

Nicolas and I waiting for the Fireworks. Nicolas' family is really big on the firework show and every year they get as close as posible. We were almost right under them by the road were they light them off.

Riley loved the little American flag and the only time he let it go was when grandpa bought him the glowing sword!

While at Great Grandma and Grandpa's house Riley "picked" me a flower, and brought it to me. Normally Riley will just smell the flowers but he must have really like the marigold.

Riley was actully pulling the trigger.

You can't really see but in the bottem picture Riley is holding a firecracker.

After the race they had some oranges and donuts for us to eat. Riley loves oranges but they give him bad diaper rash so I do not give them to him much. But it was just to cute the way he was eating it I could not resist.

My dad and I after the race.

At the finish line!
